NGC 457 is a very rewarding open cluster of about 200 stars in Cassiopeia.  It is sometimes called the Owl Cluster because of its two bright "eyes", but nowadays folks call it the E.T. cluster (as in the "Extraterrestrial").  This is a "must-see" object yet Charles Messier seems to have missed it when he cataloged the heavens.  It is especially rewarding in the 10" scope because it fits the field of view nicely.
