"When I
consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of
him?" (Psalm 8, David)

Welcome
to my website. Here's my ongoing effort to capture the heavens using equipment available
to backyard astronomers. Once again I've fallen behind on imaging. The image
below is from my first imaging session with a new camera that I've had for more than a year.
I hope this site inspires you
to seek the farthest reaches of Creation, and to understand our humble place in the universe... and I hope that your
skies are clearer than mine.
Please choose an image category on the left to view my
images. Thanks for visiting, and feel free to write.

About my imaging site: Harahan is located on the bank of the Mississippi River a few miles upstream of New
Orleans, Louisiana (U.S.A.). The Superdome is seven miles away. My skies are terribly light-polluted.
For more on light pollution, please visit the International Dark-Sky Association website. Do what you can to save our skies!
